The captain was short handed today.but it didn’t stop him from doing what he loves best. The boat comfortably met our requirements. plenty of room and walk around space. Never had any issues. We caught fish. There was a time where the fish wasn’t biting and out trip time was up, but he asked if it was ok if he circled back one more time. I’m glad he did, we caught a few more. My 3 kids under the age of 11 and youngest being 8 all had a great fun time.Great hospitality,great and funny personality. I would request him again for another trip . The captain and his ship created more memories for our family. Thank you again.

Had a great time,and caught fish. Capt. John and 1st mate Jeremey were very helpful and courteous. Plus they have great personalities. Definitely going to book again soon. The boat was amazing and comfortable. Overall it was a fantastic fishing adventure,and sorry we didn't do it sooner.

we set out after a thunderstorm, was a little choppy at first, we trolled for about an hour, then the waves started coming, so we pulled into the bay and it was even worse, I don’t blame the captain, he cant control the weather, he tried everything he could think of to get us some fish but it wasn’t in the cards for us, will rebook with them in future, as for the boat it was great, accommodated 6 of us with plenty of room to move around

In less than ideal fishing conditions, Captain John and AJ worked the entire time locating fish, changing lures, and adjusting the depth of the rigs to get us fishing action. The crew was amazing. Captain Vince and first mate John were amazing, they totally crushed it. We went on a fishing trip with friends not boat owners. Totally personable and easy to talk to. We all had a great time. Would highly recommend SunSetter Adventure to anyone out there who is ready for a great day of fish catching with knowledgeable, down to earth guys!

Could NOT ask for a better CPT/CREW combination…..Equip, boat etc was on point. Both were more than willing to allow all to participate on what they wanted to do. Either reset lines, net or just chill on their awesome boat. We were on fish within 45min of leaving dock and stayed of fish throughout the trip. We will definitely use them for all other fishing trips out of Erie

I can’t say give you and John enough positive support towards the service you provided for our trip.
I’ve spent thousands of dollars over the years fishing deep sea and various other charters in the US and Canada. Never have I had a captain volunteer to help carry my cooler the 100 yards to the boat, carry my cooler loaded with fillets off the boat. Or stand on deck all day and maintain all the rods. Let alone your attention to detail, cleaning up the rubber bands on the deck, your spotless cabin area, ability and willingness to explain how you were doing things and how everything works.
You sir have truly found your niche and should be extremely proud of what you created.
Chuck and Nate, well your charter was his first. They asked me when we could go again and expressed that the day was absolutely incredible.
TR has been going on walleye charters between Ohio and Pennsylvania for 40 years. He said he will never go on another charter unless you are the captain and he is on your boat.
You smashed all of our expectations and we will be booking again with you in the near future. Thank you so much for sharing your boat and your passion for fishing with us. Take care and stay safe.

Took my dad for Father’s Day, and it was great! Beautiful boat, beautiful lake, and extremely accommodating captain and first mate. Had a wonderful time catching some huge perch, as well as having good conversation with the captain and crew. I would highly recommend this fishing charter, even for beginners !!! Everything you need is provided. Thanks again Vince!

We came all the way from Washington state to check "walleye fishing on Lake Erie" off the bucket list! We had beautiful weather on our half day excursion with PA family! Vince and John let us all be hands on and just hang out on the back of the boat as we reeled them all in! We had the best fish fry that night! Even the non fish eaters enjoyed them! We will definitely be doing this again on our next visit! We would highly recommend them for a fun fishing adventure on Lake Erie! Thank you Vince and John!

It was a tough morning with rough waves, but nobody could predict how rough the lake was. But Vince continued on and we fished on. Later in the day the weather got a lot better! We limited out and had a great time!
